Sheet Size:
Standard is 11" x 8 1/2" with 1/2" tab
extensions. Half size is 8 1/2" x
5 1/2" with 1/2" tab extensions.
Paper:
Standard SpeedBinder tab stock choices
are
- 90# White (this is by far the most
common)
- 90# Manila
- 110# White
- 110# Manila
- 32# White
- 32# Buff
Other paper stocks are available upon
request.
Tab Size:
In order to discuss tab sizes, there
are three terms that need to be defined:
- "Set" : A set of tabs is
the total number of tabs that go together to form a complete
set.
- "Bank" : A set of tabs will
have one or more banks.
- "Cut" : The cut refers to
the size of the tabs themselves, and is defined by the number
of tabs cut from that side of the sheet.

Tab Mylar:
SpeedBinder offers several types of
mylar reinforcement for your tabs:
- Clear
- Standard colors (red, blue
green, etc)
- Clear Erasable
- Neon colors
Tab Printing:
Available options are:
- Two sided
- Single sided
- No printing
- Reverse Printing
You can specify black ink, or a PMS
Color Number.
Body Printing:
Body printing is available on the front
of your tab sheets. Many customers use this area to print a table of
contents. SpeedBinder will need
to know the number of different body print changes,
and whether or not the printing is on the front and
back, or front only. Edge bleeds or screen artwork
will result in additional charges.
Reinforcing:
As a standard feature, SpeedBinder will
apply mylar reinforcement to the punched holes.
Punching:
SpeedBinder's standard is to pre-punch
your tabs for conventional three-hole loose leaf rings. If you have
different ring sizes, let us know.
Collating and Packaging:
SpeedBinder's standard is to collate
your tabs into sets, and ship them bulk packed. You can also specify
that you want each set individually poly bagged for a small additional
charge.
